Saga Elastomer at the IISRP Webinar — May 2026

Saga Elastomer Pvt. Ltd. was invited to present at the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) Member Webinar on 26-27 May 2026. The IISRP represents over 75 percent of global synthetic rubber production capacity through its membership of producers headquartered across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Milind Laddha, Managing Director, presented on the topic: “What Demanding-Application Compounders Expect from Synthetic Rubber Producers.”

The presentation described five high-specification rubber applications from Saga’s production floor — EN 45545 HL3 railway flame-retardant profiles, low-hardness pre-lube pipe seals, low-fog automotive EPDM sponge cord, floating roof petroleum tank seals, and marine fenders — and articulated where current polymer grades reach their technical limits in each application. Rather than proposing compounding workarounds, the presentation made the case that the solutions to several of these limitations lie upstream — in polymer architecture rather than compound formulation.

Saga presented three provisional patent applications filed with the Indian Patent Office in May 2026, covering polymer design directions developed from our production experience. The webinar was addressed to an international audience of polymer producers, R&D professionals, and industry leaders.

We welcome technical conversations with polymer producers interested in co-development in any of the application areas discussed. Please contact us at [email protected].
